Limits Eased on Pakistani Scientist - NYTimes.com

Limits Eased on Pakistani Scientist - NYTimes.com: "A Pakistani court eased some travel restrictions Monday on Abdul Qadeer Khan, the scientist and pioneer of Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal who admitted six years ago that he had been running an illicit proliferation network. But the court maintained a prohibition on press interviews with him about his past nuclear activities, according to lawyers in the case.

Mr. Khan, who is revered in the country, had been put under house arrest in 2004 by former President Pervez Musharraf after Mr. Khan offered an apology to the nation over his nuclear proliferation activities."
